The Karlawinda Gold Project (KGP) is located 65 kilometres south-east of Newman in the Pilbara region of Western Australia.
The KGP commenced operations in June 2021 on time and on budget.
The KGP consists of the Bibra open pit, Southern Corridor deposit and Berwick satellite project.
The Bibra open pit is currently being mined using conventional open pit mining truck and shovel methods with ore being fed through a three-stage crushing circuit and CIL processing plant including a 4Mtpa single ball mill.
On a current reserve base of 1.4 million ounces the project has a mine life in excess of 10 years. With an extensive tenement package spanning over 2,400 square kilometres, the Company is confident of growing reserves through further exploration.
The KGP is expected to produce 110,000 โ 120,000 ounces of gold at AISCโs of $1,370 – $1,470 per ounce in FY25.
